Meet Our Team
Jason Beyer - Co-Founder
Jason Beyer started teaching in 2002 and since then has been involved in education. From 2003-2010, he was a Jesuit in the California Province. Currently, he supports teachers in their use of educational technology and teaches theology at Regis Jesuit High School. He has degrees from Regis University in Denver, the Graduate Theological Union in Berkeley, CA, and the Munich School of Philosophy in Munich, Germany.
Suit Up is a way for Jason to embody the call of faith to be in service to the common good, particularly as that relates to those most vulnerable.
Jason resides in Denver with his wife and sons, Ezra and Ezekiel.
Tommy Gaessler - Web Developer
Tommy is an entrepreneur and senior at Regis Jesuit High School, with a passion for computers and building businesses. Although he never had Ryan Katz as a teacher, he is working with Suit Up Denver on the technical side, devoloping the website.
Tommy is also a student at Galvanize Denver, and will be doing the Galvanize Full-Stack Program right out of highschool.
Suit Up is a way for Tommy to use his web design expertise to give back to his community.
Ryan Katz - President, Co-Founder
Ryan Katz is the co-founder and President of Suit Up. He went to undergrad in Hawaii where he “studied” English Literature and also learned to surf. He then earned an M.A. from Regis University in English Language and Composition.
Ryan taught students at Regis Jesuit High School for seven years before leaving to become a tailor. He says teaching English to an all-boys classroom is very similar to teaching men how to dress - not many are willing to admit how much they like it!
Suit Up is a way for Ryan to use his tailoring expertise to give back to his community.
Ryan resides in Denver, is married to the love of his life Annie, and has a Great Dane named Atticus.
Jason Lewis - Videographer
Jason Lewis is an aspiring entrepreneur and videographer. Jason lived in Brazil for a year where he studied and built his portfolio. He now attends Regis Jesuit high school and intends to go to Stanford for business and entrepreneurship.
Jason is working in junction with Geoffrey Lord on advertising and video productions for Suit Up Denver. Charity is important to him and he finds Suit Up as a way to use his skills in videography in order to give back.
Geoff Lord - Videographer
Geoffrey Lord is an inspiring film maker, track athlete, and invested student. Throughout his years at Regis Jesuit he has lettered in both cross country and track throughout his freshman and sophomore seasons.
Geoffrey looks forward to continue working with suit up in the future. Geoffrey feels that Regis Jesuit has pushed him towards service. As Suit Ups videographer he has taken part in projects involving the advertisement of the non profit. Geoffrey hopes to continue his videography work with Suit Up to help make Suit Up be the best non profit possible.
Dustin Weber - Co-Founder
Dusty Weber is currently a math teacher at Regis Jesuit High School. He graduated from St. Louis University in 2011 with degrees in Mathematics, Theology, and Philosophy. He hopes to serve the community through the mission of Suit Up and whatever skills he can offer.
Dusty lives in Denver with his wife Lisa.
